Present in 142 countries with approximately 100 mines operated using own and contractor mining fleets, Imerys is committed to acting responsibly and pursues a number of ambitious goals to achieve responsible growth with respect to the environment, social and its own governance.

Imerys had a challenge in gaining full visibility of their fleet, aware of this, Mining Director, Adam Jarvis stated that; “We don't come from a history of having a strong mind set of data capture in our in our mine environments, so we're not giving ourselves the right information to challenge the way we’re working so we're not really measuring. We are therefore not managing our operations as well as they could be.”
